Jazz/Rock Licks Vol. 2 “Outside" by Doug Perkins is a collection of licks that are intended to both help jazz guitarists with inspiring new lines to use as well as give concepts on how to create their own. Vol.2 “Outside” illustrates the concepts that jazz keyboard and horn players use to go out and inside the harmony. Vol 2 “Outside” contains ten licks and over 37 minutes of video instruction which presents the licks in slow, medium and up tempo speeds for practice. The PDF includes tablature showing important fingerings, slides, and position changes. This will help players improve their position changing and see the neck horizontally.
