Pat Kelley – The Essential Minor V to I

Pat Kelley - The Essential Minor V to I
Pat Kelley - The Essential Minor V to I
L.A. session ace and USC jazz guitar professor Pat Kelley (George Benson, Natalie Cole, David Benoit, Hubert Laws, Chick Corea, Burt Bacharach, etc.) breaks down that most common and necessary territory for the jazz guitarist, the minor V to I progression. Pat presents it not in a typical scale wise way of looking at what to play, but by making you think of the roles each note play on either chord, giving a far more musical look at how to use scales and create and resolve musical tension.
